As part of the Azadi Ka Amrut Mahotsav, the “Freedom from Traffic” event was organized on 3rd Oct by Belagavi Smart City Limited at the Command & Control Center, Vishweshwaraiah Nagar.
During this event, Command & Control Center features were introduced to the attendees. In addition, suggestions have been received about the “My Belagavi Citizen” Mobile App, developed by Belagavi Smart City ltd. This was followed by a mock drill about getting help from the Command Control Center in the event of an accident.
Chief guest at the event, Mangala Angadi, Member of Parliament suggested citizens of Belagavi to utilise facilities that are being offered by Belagavi Smart city Limited. At the beginning of the program, Managing Director of BSCL Dr.Praveen Bagewadi greeted everyone and welcomed them. Citizens of Belagavi, students of various colleges, officials and staff of Belagavi smart city were present.
