South western Railway General Manager Sanjeev Kishor promised to complete Belagavi Railway station modernization work by March 2022 in the meeting held by Iranna Kadadi, Member of Rajyasabha with Railway officials.
He held a meeting at the General Manager’s Office at Hubballi’s South western Railway Division on Thursday. He discussed about several developmental works of this region.
Expedite Belagavi – Dharwad new line work :
The Hubli-Miraj railway line doubling, Bridge Cum Barrages work should be completed soon. The new Belagavi-Dharwad railway line, which is a dream project of Suresh Angadi, has been sanctioned. The work should be started as soon as possible.

All the stations between Hubli-Miraj will be upgraded under the doubling project. Rajya Sabha member Iranna Kadadi suggested that all works should be completed in a timely manner.
