Belagavi MP Iranna Kadadi met Union Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw in New Delhi on Monday. During their meeting, MP Kadadi discussed several important issues related to the development of the Belagavi region’s railway infrastructure.
One of the main requests made by MP Kadadi was to start a Belagavi-Goa Fast Passenger train, which would enhance connectivity between the two cities. Additionally, he also urged for the introduction of a Belagavi-Pune Vande Bharat train, which would further improve transportation options for residents and travelers in the area.
MP Kadadi also highlighted the need for a railway ancillary unit, specifically a factory for the manufacturing of railway spare parts, at Kittur. This facility would not only boost local employment opportunities but also contribute to the overall development of the railway sector in the region.
Furthermore, MP Kadadi requested the extension of the Mumbai-Gadag railway to Bellary, which would provide better connectivity between these two important cities.
