Here is good news for travellers. Star Air on Saturday announced the launch of its operations for a direct flight on the Belagavi-Nagpur-Belagavi sector from 16 April.
This will be the 8th destination that StarAir going to operate under UDAN scheme from Belagavi Airport. The airline was awarded the route under Ude Desh ka Aam Naagarik (UDAN-3).
The airlines will be operating an Embraer 145 which is a 50-seater aircraft. The plane will operate twice a week on Tuesday and Saturday . It will depart Belagavi at 8.30am and reaches Nagpur at 10.00am and departs Nagpur at 10.30 am and reaches Belagavi at 12.00 pm.
Star Air also operating direct flight from Belagavi to Mumbai, Ahmedabad, Nashik, Jodhpur, Indore, Tirupati, Surat and One stop flights to Kishangarh and Kalaburagi.

Though Company had announced beginning with the Belagavi-Nagpur Sector, it was delayed due to second wave of covid19. Now travellers of these two cities can reach the airports in just 1.5 hours.
