The several bridges constructed in Belagavi City for National Highway-4 are leaking from the top at several points inconveniencing motorists while passing under these bridges.
The pipelines at many bridges in the city are damaged, even after repeated complaints by citizens, the authorities showing negligence in order to repair the bridges before every monsoon.
During heavy downpour, lots of water rushes down the bridge and due to no proper slopes and drains water gets accumalated on the road below bridges.
The roads below developing a huge pothole due to the leak. Regular commuters, especially those riding bikes are the one who suffering. Hopefully authorities wake up and initiate action to repair all the bridges within city limits.
