Belagavi: IndiGo started a through flight to Mangaluru via Bengaluru

Now travelling to the coastal city of Mangaluru is more convenient as the low-cost carrier IndiGo has started operating a daily flight from Belagavi.

The airline recently started a through flight to Mangaluru via Bengaluru using same ATR aircraft. Passengers have a layover of approximately 80 min at Bengaluru enroute to Mangaluru.

But this service is currently available on one side, where people of Belagavi can reach Mangaluru in just 4 hours without changing aircraft.

The flight would operate on all day’s. The flight leaves Belagavi at 4.50 PM and reaches Mangaluru at 9 PM.

There are many options for traveller’s to book flights from Mangaluru to Belagavi but these options have more layover and passengers have to change aircraft in Bengaluru.

There is a long pending demand to connect Costal City of Mangaluru and Kunda Nagari Belagavi with the direct flight as there are very limited transport options via Road and Rail. Hopefully in coming days airlines come forward to begin operations in this sector
