According to latest numbers released by the Airports Authority of India (AAI), Belagavi airport passenger footfall down by 27% in terms of Passenger numbers as compared to previous month and there is also reduce in Aircraft movements and Cargo movement in the month of November.
Belagavi Airport had footfalls of a total of approximately 22,149 passengers which is 6835 less when compared to 28,984 in October.
Data also shows that the number of flights operated fell by 21 per cent less compared to October. Total flights operated in November was 424.
1-Metric Tonnes cargo movement was registered.

This fall is due to cancellation of many flights by Spicejet, Alliance Air and Star Air : Belagavi-New Delhi (Spicejet), Belagavi-Hyderabad (Spicejet) , Belagavi-Mumbai (Spicejet) , Belagavi-Pune (Alliance Air), Belagavi-Nashik (StarAir).
