As per the data by the Airport Authority of India, Belagavi Airport has crossed 30,000 mark in terms of passengers footfall during March 2022. The count raised to 32% compared to February 2022.
The Passenger traffic was 23,084 in the month of February 2022, and in the month of March it was 30,467 which is 32% increase (7381) in the total passenger footfall.
As per the Airport officials, the daily average passengers’ footfall has now crossed 1,000-mark after the recent launch new route and increase in frequency of flights.

The aircraft movements at Belagavi Airport was 514 in March 2022, Which was 451 in the month of February.
New Sectors launched :
In the summer schedule, 27 March 2022 Spicejet started operating it’s flight daily on Delhi-Belagavi sector, and StarAir added new route Belagavi-Nagpur which is twice a week flight.
The addition of these new flights would further increase the load in the month of April 2022.
Schedule : The spicejet B737 flight will depart from the Delhi international airport (Indira Gandhi International Airport) at 6.05am and reach Belagavi at 8.45am. It will depart from Belagavi at 9.15am and land in Delhi International Airport (Indira Gandhi International Airport) at 11.45am.
The StarAir airline is operating an Embraer 145 which is a 50-seater aircraft. The plane will operate twice a week on Tuesday and Saturday . It will depart Belagavi at 8.30am and reaches Nagpur at 10.00am and departs Nagpur at 10.30 am and reaches Belagavi at 12.00 pm
The Four Airlines namely Star Air, IndiGo, Spicejet and Alliance Air operating direct flight from Belagavi to Mumbai, Delhi, Bengaluru, Hyderabad, Ahmedabad, Nashik, Jodhpur, Indore, Tirupati, Surat, and One stop flights to Kishangarh and Kalaburagi.
