Mla Anil Benake handed over 35 Jamboo Oxygen cylinders and Ten Oxygen Concentrators to the Belagavi Institute of Medical Science (BIMS) Hospital on Thursday.
Speaking to media on the occasion, he said that “our main aim was to save the people and hence decided to Handover the oxygen Cylinders to the BIMS Hospital through Deputy Commissioner MG Hiremath. He advised people not to panic but instead visit hospitals immediately after symptoms were found.
Deputy Commissioner M G Hiremath, who was present, said that the situation is improving with the Covid cases number coming down in the district.
Belagavi City Corporation (BCC) Commissioner K H Jagadish, Deputy Commissioner of police (DCP) Vikram Amte and others were present.
