Belagavi All India Institute of Local self Government Centre was established in the year 1976 in the premises of the Gogte College Campus, College Road, Tilakwadi. It was shifted to own premises building in the year 1982 at Sthanikraj Bhavan, Near 2nd Cross, Bhagyanagar, Tilakwadi, Belgaum. The area of the premises occupied by the centre is admeasuring 14 Guntas, having 2 storyed building with 3600 sq.ft. carpet area.

There are two institutions established in Karnataka : 1. Bengaluru, 2. Belagavi

Infrastructure: 

Lecture Hall No.- I having 100 Students capacity, Lecture Hall No. – II having 50 Students capacity, Lecture Hall No. –III having 70 Students capacity, Mini Conference Hall having 20 Nos. capacity, Laboratory / Museum, Library

Special Rooms 2 beded 2 rooms, Hostel Facility, Dormitory 9 Beded, Rooms 3 Beded each room total 11 room Among various regular courses centre conducts regular course on Diploma in Local Government Financial Management.
