The 63rd annual fruit and flower show will be jointly organised by the Department of Horticulture, Belagavi District Administration, Belagavi Zilla Panchayat and Siri Horticulture Department from November 18-20 in Belagavi said Deputy Director of Horticulture Department, Mahantesh Muragod.
The three-day event will be held at Hume Park on Club Road here in the city. District In-charge Minister Govinda Karajol, Minister for Muzarai, Haj & Wakf, Govt. of Karnataka Sasikala Jolle will inaugurate the fruit and flower show on November 18 at 4 pm.
MLA Duryodhan Aihole, MLA P. Rajeev, MLA Satish Jarakiholi, MLA Abhay Patil, District Collector Nitesh Patil and others will participate in the event.
In the fruit and flower show, arrangements have been made to display various decorative works from flowers, glass art. the flower show would exhibit various types of flowers including bonsai, anthuriums and orchids among other rare flowers and plants. Special quality vegetables, fruits and plantation crops grown by progressive farmers will be displayed.

Cultural programmes by school children and young artists would be organised in the evening all the three days.
There will be no entry fee for the fruit and flower show between 9 am to 9 pm. Space has been provided for more than 25 stalls and nurseries in the fruit and flower exhibition
